The mothers in this movie include Holly, a woman who decides to adopt a baby because she cannot make one; Jules, an aspiring singer, an owner of a baby store who got pregnant for the first time; a woman with an much older man for a husband, and Rosie who get pregnant by an old flame. These five different women all get pregnant around the same time and they represent all the different struggles and difficulties that all pregnant women have to face.
